Accounts Receivable Manager
TalentoHC has partnered with an industry leading property management company who is seeking a dedicated and experienced AR Manager to join our growing team in the Central Florida Area. In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Accounts Receivable department as well as developing and guiding their team, providing recommendations on processes and procedures for the department and enforcement of department policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the assigned team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Processing homeowner and miscellaneous payments, as well as adjustments when necessary.
- Scanning posted checks for bank deposits or mailing deposits as required.
- Reclassifying payments and handling payment transfers.
- Creating transfer requests for payments split across multiple accounts.
- Completing tickets within SLA guidelines and escalating as needed.
- Processing ownership changes and updating unit classifications.
- Managing invoicing for bulk property owners.
- Reviewing accounts for legal action and submitting monthly attorney files.
- Auditing violation files for homeowner billing.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Providing guidance and assisting in resolving internal and external issues.
- Tracking and communicating performance goals for individuals and the department.
- Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies for accurate and timely transaction processing.
- Managing inquiries and escalations from Property, Financial Reporting, Client Relations, and other departments.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Detecting and addressing inconsistencies, and recommending corrective actions.
- Oversee time-off scheduling, track absences, and manage the performance evaluation process for the department.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to team members.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Review and update processes to ensure compliance with current standards or regulations.
- Communicate SOP updates with Client Relations and Property Teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business or related field from an accredited college or university, and 3-5+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Must have previous supervisory experience.
- Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and ability to review data with analytical intent to provide necessary data within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking required
