Sr Manager, Compensation 
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Compensation with expertise in shipboard compensation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs for shipboard employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of maritime regulations, union agreements, and industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies for shipboard employees, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness of compensation packages and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for compensation expenses related to shipboard employees.
  • Manage the administration of compensation programs, including salary structures, bonuses, incentives, and benefits, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and union agreements.
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures related to shipboard compensation, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR and management teams on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, promotions, and salary negotiations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in shipboard compensation, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation management
  • 1-2+ years of experience focusing on cruise shipboard compensation
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and union agreements related to compensation.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing compensation programs that drive employee engagement and performance.
