Overview:
TalentoHC has partnered with a global, $3B organization with 55K employees in search of a Vice President of Human Resources. This key position reports to the Chief People Officer and will be responsible for driving the organization’s overall North American HR strategy including but not limited to Onboarding, Compliance Processes & Procedures, & Engagement. This individual will possess strategic driven thought, people management skills, & leadership capabilities to enhance Human Resources for the organization and ensure the overall long-term performance of HR as a function.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and drives organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify and address strategic HR needs and provide guidance on HR-related issues
- Lead the HR team in driving change initiatives, optimizing HR processes, and implementing best practices
Processes and Procedures:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that ensure legal compliance and reflect best practices
- Regularly review and update HR standard operating procedures to adapt to changing business environments
- Ensure consistent application of policies across the organization and provide guidance on complex HR issues
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Knowledge of employee & labor relations issues to be able to resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Oversee HR metrics and reporting to ensure alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements
Employee Engagement:
- Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, aligning with company values and goals
- Develop strategies to measure and improve employee morale, motivation, and productivity
- Create and promote programs that support a positive and inclusive work environment, recognizing and celebrating employee achievements and contributions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a VP of HR or senior level HR positions
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation
- Knowledge of core HR functions
- Ability to use data to understand metrics and analytics
- Knowledge of local and international labor law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities
- BSc/BA in Business, HR, Social Sciences or related; MSc/MA/MBA preferred
- Certification (e.g. PHR/SPRH) is nice-to-have
