Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of new packaging solutions for product launches, promotions, and operational initiatives.
  • Coordinate packaging projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring milestones and timelines remain on track.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, implementation plans, and status updates for key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate packaging samples, testing, evaluations, and approval processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve packaging functionality, quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage artwork development by coordinating with suppliers, creative agencies, and internal teams.
  • Maintain artwork timelines, version control, archives, and production documentation.
  • Review technical drawings, dielines, and print specifications for accuracy prior to production.
  • Support proofing, mockups, production samples, and color consistency throughout manufacturing.
  • Maintain packaging specifications, technical documentation, and electronic records.
  • Coordinate communication with suppliers, laboratories, creative partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support supplier onboarding activities, testing submissions, and performance documentation.
  • Monitor packaging industry trends, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory developments.
  • Assist with sustainability reporting and environmentally responsible packaging initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in packaging development, packaging R&D, manufacturing, graphic design, product development, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong follow-through and execution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Working knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, manufacturing, or product development is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating artwork workflows, approvals, and production processes is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn technical packaging concepts and apply them effectively.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business applications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability, adaptability, and a desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
