About the Opportunity
TalentoHC is partnering with a leading organization seeking a Director, SVOD & Membership Strategy to join its growing team.
This role will be responsible for leading the long-term strategic direction for the company’s SVOD and Membership lines of business, defining the vision, roadmap, and operating rhythm that guides subscriber acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in top-tier strategy consulting and global DTC subscription businesses, with a proven ability to drive results across Product, Finance, Growth, and regional teams.
This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership while contributing to strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual and long-range planning across SVOD and Membership, aligning strategic goals, financial performance, and investment priorities.
  • Build and evolve membership strategy including tiering, pricing, benefits, and subscriber value proposition.
  • Partner with Finance on subscriber and revenue forecasting; identify growth opportunities across new models, partnerships, and membership experiences.
  • Guide regional market prioritization and investment strategy through structured performance analysis.
  • Support high-priority strategic initiatives and executive-level decision making for senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in strategy consulting and/or corporate strategy within media, technology, or subscription-based businesses; deep DTC expertise including subscriber growth, retention, pricing, and LTV.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience presenting to C-suite leadership.
  • Strong EQ and ability to influence across highly cross-functional organizations.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
