About the Opportunity
TalentoHC has partnered with a PE-backed consumer products and entertainment company in Fort Lauderdale, FL looking for a temp Product Development Specialist to join its Scheduling team and support critical product development operations.
This role involves coordinating between multiple departments, managing SKU tracking systems, and maintaining accurate development logs to ensure seamless product launches and brand initiatives. This is a hands-on coordination role, working closely
with the Brand team to translate line plan updates into accurate, up-to-date development tracking. Work includes tracking SKUs from Spring/Summer collections through various development stages, maintaining development logs, and serving as a liaison
between Brand teams and development departments. This opportunity also includes attending cross-functional meetings to facilitate communication and project alignment, along with supporting timely completion of project milestones and deliverables
across a fast-paced consumer products organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend cross-functional meetings to facilitate communication between departments and ensure project alignment
- Track and monitor SKUs from Spring/Summer (SS) collections through various development stages
- Update and maintain development logs based on line plan updates provided by the Brand team
- Serve as a liaison between Brand teams and development departments
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and updates
- Facilitate clear communication of scheduling updates and changes across teams
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of project management or coordination experience
- Experience in product development, retail, or consumer goods industries preferred
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with experience in SKU management and product lifecycle processes
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, with advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Familiarity with line planning processes
- Knowledge of product development workflows
- Understanding of seasonal collections and SKU management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and experience with retail/fashion industry scheduling a plus
