About the Opportunity

TalentoHC is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to provide analytical expertise and consultative support across compensation programs, policies, and processes. This role will help ensure compensation practices remain competitive, equitable, and financially responsible while supporting the organization’s broader talent strategy.

The Senior Compensation Analyst will conduct job evaluations, market pricing, compensation analyses, cost modeling, and workforce reporting while partnering closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on compensation recommendations and pay decisions.

The ideal candidate brings strong compensation knowledge, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for HR and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of annual and cyclical compensation programs, including salary, bonus, and equity processes.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to evaluate positions, review job descriptions, assess organizational levels, and develop compensation recommendations.
  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and compensation analyses to assess market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Develop and maintain salary ranges, pay grades, compensation structures, and related compensation tools.
  • Analyze external market survey data and internal workforce information to evaluate pay positioning, identify trends, and support compensation decisions.
  • Develop compensation metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support leadership decision-making.
  • Conduct compensation cost analyses, financial modeling, and workforce analyses to assess program effectiveness and business impact.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of compensation programs, workflows, variable pay processes, systems, and documentation.
  • Develop tools, communications, and educational materials that help leaders and employees understand compensation programs, policies, and practices.
  • Research compensation trends, market developments, and emerging best practices and participate in external compensation surveys.
  • Support pay equity analyses, compensation audits, governance activities, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, reporting, administration, and overall user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, human resources, finance, or a related analytical function.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, salary administration practices, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing concepts.
  • Experience conducting compensation analyses and developing data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, financial models, or other analytical tools to support decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with HRIS, reporting systems, data visualization tools, and/or large datasets preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts clearly and concisely.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive compensation information.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or progress toward certification preferred but not required.
