Sales & Account Manager, Freight Forwarding
Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities, developing a pipeline to grow revenue and increase customer base
- Oversee customer accounts that require a high level of attention to detail on a consistent basis
- Provide tailored solutions to customers which includes sea, air and land transport.
- Work closely with Operations Department to ensure customer’s needs and required service level is met
- Manage customer quotes
- Maintain a working knowledge of domestic and international freight routing
- Prepare and present marketing materials to potential customers
- Develop domestic/international commercial accounts to move their business
- Develop new markets through research, cold calls and conferences to ensure growth within your book of business
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of sales experience in international freight forwarding
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proven ability to meet sales quotas
