Associate Attorney – Parks & Entertainment Litigation

Overview
TalentoHCM has partnered with a commercial litigation firm, renowned for its commitment to professional development and client success, with a strong focus on representing businesses in complex legal disputes.  We are in search of a Litigation Attorney who will manage high-profile cases under the guidance of a supervising partner.

Responsibilities

Case Management and Litigation:

  • Manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial, including case strategy development and implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with supervising attorneys to develop and execute litigation plans.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and conduct depositions of both fact and expert witnesses.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
  • Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions

Investigation and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth investigations of accident scenes and other relevant locations.
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses to gather and analyze evidence.
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports, including analysis of liability, causation, and damages.

Client Interaction and Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.
  • Build strong client relationships based on trust and responsiveness.
  • Effectively communicate complex legal matters to clients in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of civil litigation practice. Prior experience in casualty, premises liability, product liability, or complex litigation is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage cases through all litigation phases, from inception to trial.
  • Demonstrated experience in deposition preparation and conduct, as well as participation in hearings and mediations.
  • Exceptional academic background.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a robust work ethic.
  • Active Florida Bar membership.
