Social Media Manager
Talento has partnered with a consumer facing brand on a search for a Social Media Manager to manage all organic social channels. This Manager will lead the digital presence for a well known brand with a large and engaged audience across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing social  media strategies for brands with hundreds of thousands or millions of followers. This role requires a deep understanding of brand storytelling, audience engagement, and the ability to create a cohesive digital strategy that aligns with their short and longer term business goals. This is a hybrid position based in Fort Lauderdale. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTuve, X, and more. 
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content (visual, video, copy) to resonate with diverse audiences across multiple channels. 
  • Monitor and manage social communities, responding to inquiries and engaging with followers to build a loyal, engaged audience. There is a guest team that manages issue resolution. 
  • Identify and manage relationships with influencers, ambassadors, and content creators to expand brand reach and enhance authenticity. 
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the success of campaigns and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights. 
  • Work closely with marketing, creative, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency and support integrated campaigns. Some influencers report to PR so there will be cross collaboration within departments as it relates to this area. 
  • Work closely with Director on managing the agency, ideation, schedule, activities, and events. 
  • Stay on top of social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to continuously refine the social strategy and keep the brand ahead of the curve. 
  • Lead the development and execution of social media campaigns, from ideation to post-campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance. 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager for brands with large followings (in the hundreds of thousands +) is a requirement 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing social media strategies in service or experience driven focused industries (hospitality, travel, entertainment, cruise, lifestyle) 
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content best practices, algorithms, and audience behavior
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native platforms, etc) 
  • Excellent copywriting skills and an eye for design and visual storytelling 
  • Strong video content experience 
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a luxury or high-end service brand is highly preferred
