Litigation Paralegal, Personal Injury

Talento is partnered with an award-winning legal practice looking for a Litigation Paralegal to be responsible for providing comprehensive support throughout all phases of litigation, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing court deadlines, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining organized case files, and ensuring compliance with state and federal court requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, proofreading, citation checking, and tabling documents
  • Professionally communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel
  • Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts
  • Support our attorneys in all phases of litigation
  • Manage and calendar court deadlines
  • Propound and respond to discovery
  • Maintain organized case files

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Ability to act independently and in a team-based environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Confident in a paperless work environment
  • Knowledge of e-Filing and California rules
  • Familiarity with California discovery rules
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Type at least 40 wpm.

Comp: $75-150k base (depending on experience)
