TalentoHC is actively partnered with an enterprise organization actively seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join their team on a 3+ months contract to hire basis. The position is open due to growth and enhance their capabilities within Peoplesoft Financials. This will sit within the accounting department of our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- PeopleSoft accounting superuser and system administrator, providing advanced support and troubleshooting.
- Manage and execute accounting system projects, such as closing calendar and other related initiatives.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize Essbase for financial modeling and reporting as needed.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and provide user support for PeopleSoft-related issues.
- Provide support for accounting-related queries and issues.
- Document our existing procedures
- Manage tickets following proper control procedures
- Optimize and automate recurring high-volume requests
- Crosstrain in other accounting systems as back up
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PeopleSoft superuser and system administrator.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with managing accounting system projects (e.g., closing calendar).
- Strong reporting skills with high proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with Essbase is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
