Overview

TalentoHC has partnered with a government agency in Daytona, FL that is looking for a Software Engineer. This role involves a range of technical responsibilities, including system design, programming, configuration, and customization. You will also provide expert support to customers using Enterprise Applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting business processes and user requirements, as well as analyzing and summarizing complex data to support business operations.

Responsibilities:

Project Management & Implementation:

  • Lead projects from inception to successful implementation, including resource planning (personnel, hardware, software).
  • Analyze and compare alternative solutions to optimize cost-effectiveness.

System Design & Development:

  • Design and implement computer systems adhering to established standards and specifications.
  • Develop, test, and maintain code, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and web pages.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze complex data sets and prepare reports using tools like Power BI and SSRS.
  • Create and maintain dynamic reports and dashboards.

User Support & Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between users and vendors.
  • Provide expert-level application support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements and workflow optimization.

Quality Assurance & Maintenance:

  • Perform quality assurance and control tasks throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in systems or database administration
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license as required by the state.
  • This role will require an extensive background investigation
