Overview
TalentoHC has partnered with a leading travel and hospitality company to find a Salesforce Administrator.  The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the Information Technology (IT) team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs.  
 
Responsibilities

  • Point person for users, promotes adoption, keeps current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, and provides training.
  • Performs basic updates such as add/delete users and adding basic custom fields.
  • Proactively seeks out and identifies needed system changes and gathers feedback from users.
  • Manages system changes without interruption to the user.
  • Communicates system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it prior to implementation.
  • Gathers requirements from end users.
  • Modifies the system to increase benefits and usability.
  • Manages the change control process and Change Management Committee as needed.
  • Manages all processes that impacts and/or relates to Salesforce.com.
  • Manages new releases of Salesforce.com and efficiently rolls out new features.
  • Creates and maintains fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns, and other Salesforce.com objects and functions.
  • Creates custom objects when necessary.
  • Handles on-going customization and/or alteration of Salesforce.com.
  • Maintains, enhances, and creates workflows, functions, and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment.
  • Creates new reporting capabilities and responds to ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
  • Provides support functions as needed.
  • Provides sales and financial data to company executives.
  • Maintains Salesforce system’s security and integrity.
  • Maps Salesforce.com hierarchy and territories in response to personnel changes.
  • Reassigns accounts, contacts, and opportunities in response to personnel changes.
  • Grants and/or removes and maintains user licenses.
  • Maintains security including sharing rules and security levels.
  • Designs, creates, and maintains user roles, profiles, and hierarchies.
  • Monitors application storage usage and archives data as needed.
  • Provides user assistance, training, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Creates and administers training to existing or new users and/or groups.
  • Provides one on one training to end users
  • Attends planning meetings, assists with determining if and/or how Salesforce.com can be used in new ways as opposed to purchasing a new internal system.
  • Assists sales management to create processes in Salesforce.com to help monitor activities, trends, sales, and leads.
  • Communicates regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements, and changes to the system.
  • Monitors usage and mentors users and/or groups needing assistance.
  • Continually seeks ways to further enhance the end-user experience.
  • Processes creation, documentation, and maintenance Salesforce Apps.
  • Documents company processes and workflows.
  • Develops process documentation and field maps.
  • Creates new processes and associated reporting.
  • Responsible for data quality, migration, and maintenance.
  • Assists with migration from older systems and/or processes into Salesforce.com
  • Monitors neglected leads, opportunities, accounts, and contacts as appropriate.
  • Imports data as appropriate.
  • Monitors and manages exception logs for back-end system integration with Salesforce.com.
  • Manages duplicate records to improve data quality.
  • Ensures data integrity by merging duplicate leads, contacts, and accounts; performs mass uploads and updates of data as required; removes unnecessary fields and data; ensures screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow.
  • Creates and maintains dashboards, reports, including folder maintenance.
  • Develops complex, macro driven reports to summarize system information to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Knowledge of programming languages in SFDC: Apex, SQOL, SQL
  • 5+ years of experience working hands-on in Sales and Service Cloud implementations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience
  • Certified in Salesforce Administrator
  • Great communication skills and social personality a plus.
