Quality Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the company's Safety Management System (SMS)
- Maintain personal trainings as issued by company
- Responsible to ensure correct component, materials, and tooling part numbers are added to inventory and maintenance tracking database
- Assist Aircraft Records department with maintenance tracking system input as necessary
- Actively promotes a positive attitude toward safety and compliance
- Maintains Maintenance Programs tasks within the maintenance and inventory database
- Revises inspection program manuals to incorporate changes published by aircraft manufacturers
- Reviews components for applicable airworthiness directives (AD), service bulletin status and life limitations to update inventory tracking database
- Responsible for creating aircraft component templates for configuration control in electronic database
- Key support for computer system used by Quality Personnel
- Focal for implementation of new computer programs or revision of existing programs
- Train Quality Department in all new computer system updates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field
- FAA certificated mechanic with Airframe and Power plant ratings
- 3+ years of aviation maintenance, inspection, or records experience
- Understanding of Title 14 CFRs and the maintenance and airworthiness requirements
- Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
- Ability to work in a high-impact environment.
- Possess analytical skills and good judgment / decision making.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, adept at learning new software, programs, and systems.
