Overview
TalentoHC is partnered with an IT Services firm seeking a senior-level acquisition-focused Account Executive to drive net-new business across mid-market and enterprise clients. This is a hunter role, best suited for a strategic seller who thrives on relationship building, long-cycle consultative deals, and working closely with engineering teams to scope and deliver technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive net-new acquisition across key verticals: healthcare, commercial enterprise, public sector
- Build account plans that map stakeholders, timing, use cases, and business value
- Engage executives and technical decision makers across in-person and virtual touchpoints
- Lead consultative sales motions around AI, cloud, security, data center, DRaaS, and networking
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineering and project delivery teams from the start — no siloed selling
- Use MEDDIC or similar qualification frameworks to build pipeline discipline
- Deliver forecasting accuracy and CRM hygiene using Salesforce
Qualifications
- 7+ years of new logo acquisition in IT services, solution selling, or VAR environments
- Track record of landing strategic enterprise deals, not just renewals or upsells
- Experience selling into multi-vendor enterprise environments (e.g., Cisco, Nutanix, Microsoft, Dell)
- Comfortable navigating both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven consultative seller who uncovers problems — not just product requirements
- Enjoys cross-functional collaboration and being in-person with clients
- Excited about coaching or mentoring junior team members as the org scales
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 base salary, uncapped commission ($250,000 – $300,000 OTE)
