Sales Development Representative
Remote with 10-15% travel
OVERVIEW
Talento has partnered with an industry leader in B2B environmental solutions that is seeking a Sales Development Rep to research and identify potential as well as to support existing customers. The SDR will identify sales opportunities through inbound leads/conference follow-ups and outbound cold calls and emails. They will focus on researching prospective customers and on identifying, contacting, quoting and qualifying leads for the sales team. They will also oversee contract administration, support distributor networks and manage regional customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop understanding of the company’s product portfolio and services to pitch to prospective leads
- Analyze data to identify high-potential leads and optimize outreach strategies
- Source new sales opportunities with potential customers via phone, email, social media, web tools and inbound leads
- Qualify leads by understanding customer needs and challenges and schedule qualified leads and appointments in Salesforce
- Continuously update and refine outreach scripts and email templates based on customer interactions
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets for leads and appointments
- Utilize Salesforce to track and manage lead pipeline and maintain accurate activity records
- Monitor contracts for expiration dates and support sales team in contract maintenance
- Support distributor networks, independent accounts and regional customers
- Develop reports to track outreach activities, lead conversion rates and sales pipeline status
- Attend industry events and trade shows and follow-up on leads
- Collaborate with marketing to develop content/resources to nurture leads and execute outreach campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, communications or related field
- 1-3 years experience in B2B sales lead generation and customer support
- Ability to prospect and make cold calls
- Excellent communication and selling skills
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills
- Experience with prospecting tools such as Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot, Pipedrive etc.
- Familiarity with CRM practices (Salesforce) and able to build productive business professional relationships
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel; this position requires 10-15% overnight travel for sales meetings and trade shows/events
Comp Range: $65-$75k base + bonus
