About the Opportunity
TalentoHC is partnering with a globally recognized entertainment studio to find a Creative Ops Coordinator for their in-house Creative Services Studio in Burbank, CA.
This is a critical and collaborative role at the intersection of creativity and operations. The Creative Ops Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of the studio, acting as the primary point of contact for incoming creative requests and ensuring the team can focus on high-quality creative execution and strategic IP decisions. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
This is an 8-month contract position with the potential to convert or extend. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership while contributing to strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming creative requests from internal partner teams including Licensing, Brand Marketing, and Product Marketing
- Manage and maintain the studio's project management tools, ensuring all projects are accurately tracked and up to date
- Triage incoming briefs based on deadlines, complexity, and team capacity, and assign requests to the appropriate Senior Designer
- Review incoming creative briefs for completeness before routing to designers, and return incomplete briefs with clear direction on missing information
- Maintain and organize the studio's Digital Asset Management system, ensuring all files are properly named, versioned, and archived upon project closure
- Act as the liaison between the Creative Studio and all internal partner teams, communicating project status updates, timeline changes, and delivery confirmations
- Facilitate weekly studio check-ins to review workload, priorities, and upcoming deadlines
- Identify recurring workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
- Onboard internal partners to the studio's intake process and tools
- Track and report on studio capacity, project volume, and turnaround times
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a creative operations or project management coordination role
- Experience working within a creative studio, agency, or in-house design team
- Strong understanding of creative production workflows and design processes
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or Jira
- Experience with Digital Asset Management systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Bonus
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, or consumer products
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of licensing and brand marketing workflows
- Experience working across global teams including EMEA, LATAM, and Japan
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with the client's IP portfolio
