The Role
As the Recruiting Manager you will provide expert advice on effective training and development strategies to the team. You will also be responsible for driving innovative and creative sourcing strategies across a broad array of talent profiles through top of the funnel activities focused on mapping, identifying, engaging and nurturing. This role will know how to manage, mentor, and guide an organization while also working closely with various external recruiting partners to drive world-class candidate generation practices and strategies.
How You Make an Impact
You will be responsible for supporting the recruiting delivery team to identifying timely qualified candidates for submission to customers. Leading by example, this role will support recruiting for roles using these searches as a training opportunity. Your success will be derived from the success of the team as they learn, grow, and deliver.
Responsibilities:
What you would be responsible for
- Responsible for leading a pod of Recruiters in day-to-day operations, which includes running mornings/afternoon sprints, assigning requisitions, ensuring timely candidate delivery, Boolean assistance, explaining required skill sets, and overall recruiter training
- Utilizes deep organizational, industry, market, and functional expertise to partner effectively with hiring managers and human resources professionals within customers, ensuring alignment and overall customer satisfaction
- Serves as a leader on the delivery team, able to coach at the process, procedural and tactical level to move recruiting activities forward with a clear path and plan of attack
- Foster an environment of knowledge sharing and learning where the status quo is challenged and ideas for improvement are championed and explored
- Provide expert advice on effective candidate generation strategies to a team of leaders by driving creative talent-finding and nurturing strategies
- Mentor and guide leaders in identifying non-traditional and diverse talent, using a diverse array of platforms with a focus on sourcing passive candidates
- Oversees the end-to-end execution of the recruiting process serving as a coach and hands-on trainer in these areas:
- Supporting development of intelligence company map, sourcing plan and tactics collaborating with recruiters, researchers and customer teams
- Conducting structured interviews and producing corresponding documentation to complete candidate screenings
- Developing compelling outreach messaging via appropriate mediums to effectively market to candidates
- Create search overview reports for clients including market intelligence and activities summaries
- Interaction with customers in Alignment, Calibration and Profile Review meetings ensuring customer requirements are gathered and leveraged throughout sourcing, outreach, screening and client submission
- Espouses the culture of the firm as a key tone setter to our associates every day. Breathes and represents our company values, ensuring every associate is engaged, motivated and understands their goals
- Coordinate and oversee performance management process through daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual rhythms, ensuring detail level action planning
- Compile weekly life-cycle metrics and achievement against goals including conversion, sourcing, outreach, interested, assessment, qualification, submission, interview, offer, and placement ratios
- Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual EBR forecasting of Actual vs. Base, Target, & Stretch results in addition to associate level productivity and performance
- Manage ongoing projects & priorities tracker including status, actions, and general areas of focus. Develop business case, manage and execute on cross functional projects ensuring organizational progress & readiness in a high growth firm
- Drives innovation, improves processes, documents procedures, creates training collateral, hosts learning sessions and increases the effectiveness of the recruiting operation overall
- Knowledgeable on all roles enabling cross selling of qualified candidates to increase placement rates and customer satisfaction
Experience and knowledge requirements for the role:
- Passionate about enabling businesses through human capital
- 7+ years of industry experience
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
- Driven by collaboration, learning, doing the right thing and quality human interaction
- Pride in delivering quality work, every time
- Fluent in English. Spanish preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
