About the Opportunity
TalentoHC has partnered with a promotional product agency specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-quality premiums, promotional merchandise, and toys. Due to growth in their CPG division, they are seeking a hunter-type Account Executive who excels at driving new business and expanding market reach. This role focuses on proactively identifying opportunities, securing new clients, and fueling the company's growth. As a brand relationship expert, the ideal candidate brings a proven track record of meeting sales quotas and developing cutting-edge ideas that drive healthy, sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Seeking new business opportunities
• Creating promotional giveaways
• Generating leads and target lists
• Fearlessly cold calling (and other creative means) to reach new clients
• Writing RFPs/RFQs for promotions and ongoing programs
• Managing existing relationships
• Maintaining a database to track and measure business growth
• Achieving short- and long-term sales and profitability goals
• Pitching business goals, strategies, and tactics
• Managing projects from ideation to completion
• Encouraging new and increased business within current accounts
• Identifying new business opportunities across all company business units
• Developing sales materials for client pitches and follow-ups
• Researching, analyzing, and capitalizing on market opportunities
• Countering competitive activity with the company's strengths and capabilities
• Excelling at customer service for clients and fellow associates
• Working within assigned budgets and forecasts
• Understanding clients' financial needs from revenue and costs to margin
• Developing creative solutions for clients' branding needs
• Monitoring competitive products and marketing activities
Qualifications
• 5+ years of Business Development/Sales experience
• Creativity and experience in product and/or concept development
• Excellent customer service and client relationship-building skills
• Proven track record of increasing sales or business opportunities through client development
• Excellent client presentation skills
• Strong, complex negotiating skills
