Accountant – 12 month contract – onsite
Overview:
The Record to Report (RTR) Specialist is responsible for performing and analyzing core accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- RTR Activities: Execute and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual RTR activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Control Compliance: Perform and report on control activities to support internal and external audits.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline RTR activities and enhance efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure timely reporting.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
