Associate Director, Marketing

Overview

TalentoHC has partnered with a global pharmaceutical and consumer brand company to find an Associate Director of Marketing and Sales that will work closely with the Lead of the OTC Product Portfolio as well as various departments like sales, finance, pricing & contract, and supply chain to create and execute comprehensive strategic plans for an extensive product portfolio. Responsibilities include sales and market expansion, performance analytics, financial analysis, and market insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment and will collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage competitive pricing strategies for annual RFPs, including tracking pricing and product initiatives at different stages.
  • Create and oversee the annual and monthly forecasting budget for OTC division
  • Allocate and manage the marketing budget for OTC Projects.
  • Design and execute promotional tools that align with strategic plans for products.
  • Plan and implement sales and advertising programs, including promotional accrual funds.
  • Create promotional materials (Displays, Bonus Packs, etc.) to support specific categories, customer programs, and sales team.
  • Review and implement industry-specific policies affecting forecasting, pricing, and distribution.
  • Utilize market data to assess product performance and uncover new opportunities.
  • Manage new product forecasting, pricing strategies, and customer selection processes.
  • Prepare financial presentations and communicate sales performance to senior management.
  • Develop sales strategies for generic wholesalers and in-house accounts.
  • Conduct cost analysis to support competitive market pricing.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to match customer demand with forecast estimates.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to identify new market opportunities and support pipeline growth.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Science, or a related field
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in generic marketing management
  • Preferably 3-6 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data management
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
