Associate Network Administrator
TalentoHC is collaborating with a private organization aiming to enhance their Network capabilities by adding an Associate Network Administrator. This role demands expertise in managing Cisco switches, VPNs, and wireless access points to ensure robust network infrastructure. Proficiency in overseeing Palo Alto Firewalls is essential for maintaining secure data transmission. Additionally, a solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory (AD) Administration is required to support seamless network operations and user connectivity. The ideal candidate will drive the optimization of network systems while proactively addressing operational challenges to meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Routine operations, installations, troubleshooting, and administration of Network and Windows servers in a Cisco environment.
- Installing and troubleshooting network wiring/cabling | Troubleshooting server hardware.
- Apply a strong grasp of network protocols and concepts to monitor and manage network services.
- Act as a domain administrator, proficiently managing Microsoft Windows 2008 to 2012R2 servers, Active Directory, AD Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
- Administer clustered VMWare ESXi enterprise environments and NetApp SAN systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in IT network or server administration
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology
- A strong understanding of network protocols and concepts sufficient to monitor and manage network services in a Cisco environment.
- The ability to manage Cisco switches, VPNs, and wireless access points.
- The ability to manage Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCPM and AD Administration.
- The ability to manage and administer NetApp SANs
