Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA- Hybrid

Overview

TalentoHC has partnered with a leading toy company in Los Angeles seeking a contract Associate Product Manager with a strong focus on project management and cross-functional coordination. Under the supervision of the Creative Director, this role will support the
development of imaginative and production-ready costumes for original and licensed toy characters by driving timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring seamless communication across teams. This position serves as a key operational partner to Design, acting as the hub between
internal teams, licensors, and manufacturing partners to ensure projects stay on schedule and aligned with brand and business objectives. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role focused on project execution, workflow management, and system tracking rather than hands-on design ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple costume development workstreams
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, Product Development, Marketing, licensors, and external partners) to ensure alignment and on-time execution
• Maintain project tracking tools, schedules, and documentation to support workflow visibility
• Track licensor submissions, feedback, and approvals to keep projects moving forward
• Identify risks or delays and proactively communicate solutions
• Support product launches, retail initiatives, and other cross-functional projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in project management, coordination, or product operations (consumer products, toys, fashion, or entertainment preferred)
• Strong experience managing timelines, schedules, and cross-functional workflows
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office / G-Suite
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with licensors or external partners is a plus
• Understanding of product development lifecycles is preferred; design experience is not required

Pay Rate (Commensurate with Experience): $28 – $40/hr
