The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting business operations through the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of business systems. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing testing for software releases, monitoring system performance, conducting audits, and supporting operational stability across applications and hardware environments.
This role works in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and serves as a liaison between business and technical teams. The analyst helps guide users through new systems, supports adoption efforts, and ensures stakeholders understand system capabilities, workflows, and operational impacts.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Develop and maintain system specifications, process flows, and functional requirements aligned with business objectives
- Analyze business processes and existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend enhancements or new solutions
- Conduct demonstrations and walkthroughs of system updates, enhancements, and operational processes
- Perform regular system and process audits to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
- Participate in testing activities for software releases, upgrades, and system enhancements
- Support and manage change requests, system enhancements, and new business initiatives
- Create and maintain workflow documentation, process documentation, and technical materials
- Lead deployment activities for new initiatives, including post-launch support
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet established quality standards
- Assist with project coordination, timeline management, and resource planning as needed
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to evaluate system performance and recommend operational improvements
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and a positive team environment
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working in collaborative team environments and coordinating with external vendors
- Experience with travel, hospitality, or reservation systems preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, including working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong adaptability with the ability to manage changing priorities and influence stakeholders effectively
- Positive, energetic, and collaborative approach to working with diverse teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute as a strong team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
