Compensation Analyst
Overview:
Talento has partnered with an Financial institution in the search of a Compensation Analyst to play a key role in supporting company’s compensation strategy. This role is responsible for analyzing, administering, and monitoring compensation programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Compensation Analyst will partner with HR business partners and leaders to provide data driven insights and recommendations on pay decisions , market trends, and compensation policies.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze comepnsation data, benchamrk against market trends
- Conduct job evaluations and provide leadership with data to support new inititaves
- Conduct new employee onboarding and orientation to foster positive attitude towards the company’s goals
- Create, analyze, and maintain various reports for internal auditing, compliance, headcount, financial reporting and other departments.
- Benefits Administration – Maintain employee records
- Assist employees in questions regarding medical, vision and voluntary benefits.
- 401k administration, worker’s compensation and disability.
- Create and maintain processes utilized as part of day to day administration
- Support compensation projects such as job architecture reviews, pay transparency initiatives, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure employees files meet compliance
- HRIS management
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics (financial services industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market analysis and job evaluation methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, HRIS, and compensation systems
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence HR and business stakeholders.
