Corporate Associate / M&A Attorney (Multiple Levels)

Overview:
TalentoHC has partnered with a premier corporate, real estate, and litigation law firm to find Corporate Associate/M&A Attorneys at both the Mid-Level (2–4 years) and Senior-Level (6–8 years) to join its dynamic Corporate/M&A Group.
Responsibilities:

Drafting, reviewing, and revising transactional documents, such as stock and asset purchase agreements, ancillary acquisition agreements, employment agreements, NDAs, limited liability company agreements, stockholders’ agreements, and other corporate governance documents.

Coordinating with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel on transactions to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications:

Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Bar Admission: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.

For Mid-Level: 2–4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions.

For Senior-Level: 6–8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

Strong communication and relationship skills; the candidate will be expected to have regular contact with clients and opposing counsel.

Details:

Billable Hour Requirement: 1,800 hours.

Compensation (2–4 Year Associate): Base salary range $200,000 – $230,000 per year.

Compensation (6–8 Year Associate): Base salary range $240,000 – $290,000 per year.

Business Development Budget: $2,500 per year.
