Selection and Recruiting:
- Consult with hiring managers to understand the business needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to identify and source current open positions.
- Identify talent gaps and future needs to proactively source and develop robust talent pool pipelines in advance of need.
- Manage a multi-channel recruiting process to fill the pipeline with high-quality candidates, including search, internal recruiting, internet, employee referral, social networking, college recruiting, internships, job fairs, etc.
- Manage the recruiting life cycle for assigned client teams and hiring managers to include sourcing, assessments, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offering, onboarding, and orientation.
- Drive alternative sourcing for active and passive candidate sourcing utilizing social media, internet sourcing, networking, and other ways to creatively source candidates.
- Assist in developing college and technical school recruiting by developing a company presence and establishing working relationships with key contacts.
- Assist in developing the company brand/employee value proposition that communicates the Spirit brand.
Systems, Processes, Procedures:
- Identify and assist in continuous improvement initiatives, including mapping processes, analyzing gaps, and establishing workflows of talent acquisition procedures.
- Identifies opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate talent acquisitions processes and procedures cost-effectively.
Measuring, Tracking, Reporting:
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to measure, track, and report recruiting initiatives' status and success, including search progress, candidate pipeline, diversity, and recruiting channel effectiveness for assigned client groups.
- Develop SLAs with client groups and hiring managers and conduct regular follow-up meetings to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation, candidate quality, hiring manager satisfaction.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 3-5 years of recruiting experience.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills to express and logically articulate points of view.
- Must be a highly organized individual, able to work independently, and capable of working in a fast-paced/deadline-driven environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and embrace change in an evolving organization driven by multiple deadlines.
- Up to 20% travel is required for recruiting events.
