Title: Customer Business Partner

Compensation: $64K–$66K Base + Quarterly Incentive
About the Opportunity
TalentoHC has partnered with a research and innovation-driven nutritional supplement company that develops trusted products for humans and animals, used by doctors and vets for more than 50 years. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Customer Business Partner to manage and grow strategic customer relationships across their brand portfolio. This role focuses on customer retention, satisfaction, and long-term business growth, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. As a trusted advisor and advocate for customers, the ideal candidate brings a proven track record of driving account growth and maintaining strong, lasting client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary relationship owner for assigned customer accounts
- Developing strong partnerships and conducting regular business reviews and check-ins
- Establishing and maintaining customer segmentation tiers within the CRM
- Identifying opportunities for account expansion, new product development, and additional revenue
- Supporting customer retention initiatives and contract renewals
- Proactively addressing customer concerns and escalating issues when necessary
- Coordinating cross-functional resources to support customer success
- Leading discussions on forecasts, demand planning, and long-term business opportunities
- Supporting pricing discussions, business reviews, and commercial negotiations
- Partnering with Business Development to transition new customers into ongoing account management
- Working closely with Sales Coordination, Operations, Quality, Planning, and R&D to support customer objectives
- Monitoring account health, service levels, and customer feedback trends
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience of a seasoned sales professional with the ability to grow sales and profits across multiple brands and retail channels, including both pet and human products
- Ability to work within a given budget while achieving growth with existing customers and securing new business simultaneously
- Effective at managing a variety of retail outlets, including ecommerce
