Talento has partnered with a Fortune500 organization on a Director of Benefits role. The Global Benefits Director is responsible for the strategic planning and administration of employee benefits programs across a multi-brand, international organization. This role requires an experienced professional with deep expertise in global benefits management who can balance the need for consistency and compliance with the unique requirements of each child company. The Director will partner closely with benefits teams across the organization to align initiatives with the overall global benefits strategy and organizational goals. Additionally, this role will provide key reporting and updates to senior leadership, focusing on cost management and improvements in the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a global benefits strategy in collaboration with operating unit benefits teams, ensuring alignment with broader business and talent goals.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance existing programs to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with company values and culture.
Program Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other offerings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across all countries of operation.
- Monitor and manage program costs to ensure financial sustainability and effectiveness.
Vendor Management
- Partner with brand teams to evaluate and select external benefits providers, ensuring high service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct performance reviews of vendors and make recommendations for improvement.
Employee Communication & Education
- Develop communication strategies and tools to support brand teams in educating employees about available benefits and promoting program engagement.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze benefits data and employee feedback to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to the HR Leadership Team on program performance, cost initiatives, and employee experience enhancements.
Leadership & Collaboration

Collaborate with and mentor benefits teams across different brands, promoting a cohesive and unified approach to benefits management.
Market Trends & Innovation
- Stay current with industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices in global benefits.
- Integrate relevant innovations and improvements into the organization’s benefits programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Professional certification such as CEBS or PHR preferred
- 10+ years of experience in benefits management, including 5+ years in a global or multi-brand environment
- In-depth knowledge of international benefits regulations, trends, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive initiatives to completion
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; experience leading and developing cross-functional teams
- Adaptable and responsive to changing business needs, regulations, and market conditions
