Talento has partnered with a Global CPG company seeking a 3-month Temp Director of Marketing.

The Director, Global Brand Marketing is accountable for leading the brand and product marketing strategies that deliver overall financial performance for a portfolio of  owned and licensed brands. The director will be responsible for building consumer demand and market share by grounding the team in deep consumer, category, and market insights. This position will establish clear objectives that deliver growth strategies for the portfolio and set the current and future direction for the brand lines(s). The director will oversee and execute marketing initiatives by leading new brand/product launches and integrated omni-channel brand plans.
The director will manage a team of one or more Marketing Managers/Assoc Marketing Managers and will build/grow strong cross-departmental relationships. A “servant leadership” approach to team building and growth is critical.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Integrated Marketing Planning and Execution
•    Leads the marketing positioning for all brand portfolio activities
•    Leads the global integrated marketing plan that meets the annual marketing objectives
•    Oversees the development of strategy and campaign briefs
•    Oversees the development of effective and efficient media plans
•    Maintains that all consumer and trade marketing communications on-strategy and consistent
•    Ensures flawless communication among internal and external (Licensor) executives and team members
•   Oversees relationships with licensors, creative and media agency partners
•    Utilizes POS Data, Shopper and other research to develop and optimize product marketing plans
•    Clearly communicates program/campaign success metrics and results to leadership and o other key stakeholders

Project and Process Management
•   Lead the marketing budget for portfolio
•   Serves as a marketing liaison between product/brand development, sales planning, digital marketing, design, PR and business development.
•   Oversees project timelines, deliverables and approval process internally and externally (with Licensors).
Social Media, PR, Digital Marketing & Partnerships
•    Oversees implementation of the marketing strategy (inclusive of social, PR, digital, influencers & partnerships), brief development and SOW.
•    Partners with internal Digital Marketing Team and Agencies to deliver media campaigns and initiatives through briefing to the execution of total campaigns.
•    Serves as the cross-functional liaison across digital marketing, and social media

Education/ Years of Related Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required.
•    7-10 years of experience in marketing, media and/or digital marketing industries with consumer or retail experience. (Toy/Entertainment experience is highly desirable)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
•    Experience managing paid and organic marketing campaigns
•    Proven success in executing a comprehensive marketing plan that is integrated across multiple consumer touch points, including digital and in-store
•    Has managed new product launches from strategy through retail with proven in-market success
•    Has worked on a business with global or international exposure
•    Demonstrated success/ability working in a matrix environment
•    Exceptionally strong communication skills, written, and oral
•    Proven ability to work with, lead, coach and develop a cross-functional team
•    Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and externally
•    Effective time management skills with strong organization and prioritization
•    Strong computer literacy and/or ability and desire to advance technically. Familiar with Google Suite, MS Office Suite

DOE: $51.40 – $64.25/hr
