Remote w/50% Travel

OVERVIEW
Talento has partnered with a global industry leader in supply chain solutions looking for a Director of Sales to lead the strategy, growth and profitability of the business unit through a rolling 2-year sales plan. This role drives category-based expansion, scales national and enterprise accounts and ensures disciplined pipeline and forecast management. The Director develops high-performing sales teams through coaching, performance management and talent development while fostering a collaborative culture. They build strategic customer partnerships, champion solution-based selling and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experience. Market expertise, strong leadership and execution of growth strategies are key to capturing market share and achieving aggressive revenue goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Strategy & Growth: own and execute a rolling 2-year sales plan to expand market share/new markets, grow categories and scale national/enterprise accounts
  • Lead & Inspire: manage and develop a high-performing sales team of leaders and managers, fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture
  • Own the Numbers: deliver sales and profitability goals by ensuring accurate forecasting, disciplined pipeline management and achievement of aggressive revenue targets
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: cultivate long-term customer relationships and deliver tailored, solution-based sales strategies
  • Collaborate for Success: partner with cross-functional teams to align operations, optimize service and drive innovation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive solution-based sales experience across multiple manufacturing channels with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth across small, medium and large enterprise accounts
  • 5+ years of proven sales leadership success including building, coaching and managing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing a multi-year sales strategy that achieves aggressive growth targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility at all organizational levels, including C-suite
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales operations processes (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR), due to company vehicle usage
  • Willingness to travel 50%+
