About the Opportunity

TalentoHC is partnering with a leading institution seeking a Faculty Operations Administrator to support a lean faculty operations team during a critical period of systems and operational work.
This role will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day faculty HR operations, supporting faculty lifecycle processes, and assisting with systems initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Faculty Affairs, Academic HR, or Academic Personnel, and a proven ability to manage complex faculty processes in fast-paced academic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day faculty operations and HR administration, including appointments, reappointments, renewals, and personnel transactions

  • Manage faculty onboarding, offboarding, and employment lifecycle activities

  • Coordinate and maintain faculty records, documentation, and compliance processes

  • Provide support for faculty leave, contract administration, compensation updates, and faculty-related HR requests

  • Assist with Workday testing, validation, troubleshooting, and business process support

  • Partner with stakeholders across Academic Affairs, Human Resources, and faculty leadership

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional policies and faculty procedures

  • Support reporting, process improvements, and operational continuity

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Faculty Affairs, Academic HR, Academic Personnel, Faculty Operations, or Higher Education Human Resources

  • Experience supporting faculty lifecycle processes including appointments, reappointments, onboarding, or academic personnel administration

  • Background in higher education — universities, colleges, or academic medical environments

  • Familiarity with Workday HCM / Workday HR strongly preferred; hands-on experience a plus

  • Experience with Colleague, Banner, Ellucian, Interfolio, or related higher education systems a plus

  • Experience with faculty promotions, tenure, annual reviews, or faculty governance preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
