The Manager of Financial Data and Analytics will lead a team of analysts responsible for delivering impactful financial and operational insights that support shipboard operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics initiatives that connect shipboard operations with leadership teams, ensuring consistency in financial reporting and insights.
  • Design scalable solutions to integrate diverse data sources into dashboards and forecasting tools.
  • Anticipate and resolve data inconsistencies or gaps that could impact reporting accuracy.
  • Evaluate financial implications of operational decisions using predictive modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices in financial analytics, data visualization, and reporting standards.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure analytics solutions are aligned with enterprise goals and scalable across departments.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support cost control, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Navigate evolving business needs through structured problem-solving and forward-looking insights.
  • Foster a data-driven culture and support leadership in making informed, strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analytics, data visualization, and team leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI/Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Word, and data warehousing concepts.
  • PL-300 certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems (EBS experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Excellent analytical, auditing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to develop strategies that mitigate risk.
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and develop solutions where precedents may not exist.
  • Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., cruise or hospitality) beneficial but not required.
