FP&A Analyst
Overview
TalentoHCM has partnered with an industry leading food distribution organization that is elevating its FP&A functions to respond to its double-digit growth to $5Bn and beyond. You'll analyze financial data, create forecasts & reports, and partner with departments to drive strategic decisions. This role requires strong financial skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Construct and manage financial plans and forecasts aligned with corporate objectives.
- Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strategic goals.
- Develop insightful financial reports and presentations to inform decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and explain variances to leadership.
- Collaborate with accounting to reconcile financial data and identify potential adjustments.
- Serve as a financial business partner to departments, providing analysis and support.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess past performance and predict future outcomes.
- Partner with operations to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and business cases.
- Enhance FP&A capabilities through process improvement and tool development.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience and progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends in financial and operational data.
- Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, ERP systems (MS D365 preferred), and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in the food distribution or manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work four days per week onsite, with the option to work remotely one day per week.
