Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Web Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality web applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our web products meet the highest standards of performance, usability, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the web development team.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for web development projects.
- Development:
- Contribute to the development of web applications, including front-end and back-end components.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Team Management:
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Problem-Solving:
- Identify and troubleshoot technical problems related to web applications.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve application performance and efficiency.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
- Research and explore new tools and techniques to enhance development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a web developer, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby).
- Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
