TalentoHC is partnered with a manufacturing organization seeking a Learning & Development Manager.
The Learning & Development Manager executes initiatives related to organizational development, learning, and performance management. Reporting to the VP of HR, this role partners with leaders to strengthen employee capabilities, improve organizational effectiveness, and drive business performance.
Responsibilities
Organizational Development
- Partner with leaders to implement OD initiatives aligned with business goals
- Support change management efforts through training, communication, and adoption strategies
- Identify development needs and deliver practical solutions to enhance performance
Learning & Development
- Design and deliver programs such as leadership development, onboarding, technical, sales, and Manager-in-Training (MIT)
- Facilitate training sessions focused on leadership, communication, and team effectiveness
- Manage and optimize the LMS, including content, reporting, and user experience
- Maintain and update training materials; manage external learning vendors
Performance Management
- Lead the annual performance review process
- Support goal setting, development planning, and performance improvement initiatives
Early Talent Development
- Oversee internship, co-op, and MIT programs
- Build partnerships with universities and trade schools
- Ensure structured onboarding and development for early-career talent
Metrics & Compliance
- Track and report on program effectiveness
- Support training-related audits and compliance
- Maintain accurate job descriptions aligned with organizational needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in OD, L&D, or HR
- Experience designing and delivering training programs and using an LMS
- Knowledge of change management principles
- Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into effective development solutions
