Talento is partnering with an enterprise PE-backed organization seeking an LMS Administrator to support several large engagements within their teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for the LMS platforms, managing configurations, course uploads, assignments, automation rules, and learning matrix alignment.
- Own the creation, maintenance, and optimization of training programs to ensure accurate course assignments, compliance, and renewal tracking.
- Liaise with LMS vendors, internal team members, and cross-functional partners to address system needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, acting as the liaison between management and external providers.
- Create, track, and follow up on system tickets to ensure timely resolution of bugs and system enhancements.
- Conduct regular audits and backend clean-ups to maintain accurate data, improve user experience, and optimize system performance.
- Develop and implement test cases for LMS updates, enhancements, and new releases, outlining key parameters and pass/fail scenarios.
- Gather feedback from team Specialists and other stakeholders to recommend future enhancements and improvements to content management, workflows, and system functionality.
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to define logic and expected outcomes for new LMS features and enhancements.
- Ensure LMS compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy standards, and security requirements.
- Support the broader HR systems infrastructure, including system updates, software integrations, and performance optimizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in LMS administration, preferably within a corporate or maritime environment or equivalent business analyst experience
- Familiarity with HR systems, integrations, and learning technologies, experience with Workday Core HCM, Workday Learning, Workday Talent, Performance Management a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and ability to work independently in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support users at all levels of technical proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, set appropriate timelines, clarify expectations, and utilize effective processes/approaches to ensure work is delivered with excellence promptly
