TalentoHC has partnered with a client in the brand licensing and strategic partnerships space to hire a dynamic individual for a Manager, Licensing & Collaborations role. This hybrid opportunity is based in Los Angeles with a well-established agency known for creating culturally impactful brand collaborations across sectors including entertainment, fashion, food & beverage, health & wellness, and more. With a strong reputation for driving strategic growth and delivering creative partnerships, the agency operates at the intersection of brand expansion, inbound licensing, and cross-industry collaboration. As the Manager, you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for both clients and partners, playing a critical role in overseeing daily operations, executing partnership strategies, and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships. You’ll work closely with the company President and client stakeholders, taking full ownership of active projects, leading client communications, and helping shape long-term collaboration plans. This is a highly visible role suited for someone resourceful, relationship-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct reports and act as a key resource for complex client-related matters
  • Drive internal progress reporting and communicate updates regularly to company leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day client communications and ensure smooth execution of ongoing initiatives
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships to foster client retention and satisfaction
  • Gain a deep understanding of client goals, challenges, and growth opportunities
  • Act as a liaison between clients & licensors
  • Submit and track approval requests via licensor platforms, ensuring timely and accurate updates
  • Maintain organized systems to manage approvals, timelines, and project submissions
  • Plan and facilitate weekly client meetings, including agenda creation and status tracking
  • Keep project documentation current, including meeting recaps and next-step follow-ups
  • Create and present proposals and deal outlines for new brand partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Develop visually compelling pitch materials and presentations tailored to specific prospects
  • Identify and introduce new licensing or collaboration opportunities to clients
  • Support outbound pitches to potential licensing partners and collaborators
  • Participate in contract review and deal negotiation processes
  • Contribute to royalty tracking, financial forecasting, and quarterly performance reports
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategy recommendations and client-facing deliverables
  • Support additional projects or team needs as they arise, contributing flexibly across the organization

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related experience required; inbound licensing, collaborations or brand partnerships experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  • Strong understanding of licensing agreements and ability to negotiate deals
  • Strong understanding of culture, fashion, entertainment, music
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure and strong communication skills

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 (DOE)
