B2B National Account Manager
Canada – Remote

Overview
Talento has partnered with a manufacturing industry leader to find a National Account Manager to sell their portfolio of products, services and technology. The NAM will drive strategic growth and profitability with national accounts and municipalities by building and maintaining strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities. They will work closely with internal operations, procurement, sustainability and other teams to ensure customer satisfaction and to provide innovative and high-value solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed revenue and contribution margin goals via development and implementation of comprehensive market and customer-specific business plans
  • Grow business through building a pipeline for expansion into new accounts and municipalities
  • Gain deep understanding of customer process, business models, strategic goals, operational challenges and opportunities to provide tailored solutions
  • Drive relationships and deep engagement with multiple levels of key decisions makers
  • Lead strategic business planning/reviews with customers to measure performance and ensure alignment
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, markets, competitive landscape, regulations and best practices to support opportunistic solutions and add customer value
  • Share industry insights and trends with internal teams to influence product development and marketing strategies
  • Maintain sales forecasting and an active reporting procedure in accordance with company needs
  • Utilize Salesforce to document and manage sales activities and information to drive account penetration 
  • Attend industry and networking events to build relationships and gather market intelligence

Qualifications

  • BA / BS degree required in business or related field
  • 5+ years of B2B consultative full cycle selling experience and 3+ years of municipality sales experience (contracts/RFPs)
  • Highly motivated, target driven hunter with strong track record in delivering high performance-driven goals and driving incremental sales and revenue
  • Strong solution sales skills: relationship building, presenting, negotiating, influencing and building productive customer relationships
  • Able to analyze market data and performance metrics and make sound business decisions
  • Effective skills in communication, collaboration, attention to detail and prioritization
  • Experience with CRM practices (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Open to 50%-60%+ travel to account meetings, sales meetings and trade shows
