Network Engineer
TalentoHC is collaborating with a private organization aiming to enhance their Network capabilities by adding a Network Engineer to join the team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise in Cisco technologies, network security, and troubleshooting will be essential in ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to end-users.
- Configure and manage VPNs, wireless networks, and network security protocols.
- Monitor network performance and optimize network resources.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network compatibility with other systems and applications.
- Stay updated on emerging network technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and network architectures.
- Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Experience with network security best practices and tools.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CCNA or CCNP certifications preferred.
