Product Manager – ERP
3/2 Hybrid in Bronx
Talento has partnered with an established, growing organization to identify a Product Manager to own and evolve its internal financial systems and processes. This role sits within Enterprise Product Management, responsible for non–customer-facing platforms that support Finance, Accounting, HR, Procurement, and other corporate functions.
This is a highly operational, people- and process-focused product role. The ideal candidate brings hands-on finance or accounting experience, deep systems understanding, and the ability to map complex workflows, drive clarity, and push initiatives across the finish line. Success in this role requires strong partnership with Finance leadership, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to improve visibility, reporting, and decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product management for internal financial systems, with a primary focus on ERP-driven finance and accounting workflows
- Partner closely with Finance and Accounting teams to map, document, and optimize end-to-end processes including budgeting, planning, reporting, and profitability analysis
- Lead enhancements, new functionality, data improvements, and reporting capabilities across financial platforms
- Serve as the product owner for enterprise finance systems, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution
- Establish and maintain clear system documentation, including process flows, data mappings, requirements, and operating models
- Drive cross-functional initiatives by bringing stakeholders together, facilitating alignment, and championing solutions through delivery
- Define success metrics and KPIs to measure adoption, effectiveness, and business impact of financial products and features
- Collaborate with domain leads, developers, low-code resources, and contractors to prioritize and deliver work effectively
- Support system rollouts, upgrades, and integrations, including planning, training, and post-launch enablement
- Act as the primary point of contact for financial systems product strategy, communicating priorities, progress, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Systems, Finance Systems, or a related role
- Strong background in finance and accounting processes; candidates who began their careers in Finance or Accounting are strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, and related financial platforms
- Proven ability to map complex workflows, identify gaps, and translate business processes into system and product requirements
- Experience leading system enhancements, new functionality, and reporting initiatives in an enterprise environment
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear, usable process and system documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to lead discussions, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions
- Comfort working in a lean product and development environment without a fully scaled Scrum team
- Familiarity with Agile or modern product delivery practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, or similar
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving organization
