Talento has partnered with a bank seeking to hire a Portuguese speaking relationships officer. This individual supports bankers and investors by managing day-to-day client service and relationship management activities. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, relationship teams, and internal partners to ensure timely resolution of inquiries, accurate execution of transactions, and adherence to operational and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and client-focused, with experience in financial services operations.
Responsibilities
- Support bankers and investors with client relationship management activities across assigned accounts
- Research, follow up on, and resolve client inquiries by coordinating with internal teams including operations, product specialists, and compliance
- Assist with the execution and processing of client transactions, including trades, transfers, wire transfers, credit-related activity, and investment transactions
- Contribute to operational, regulatory compliance, and business process control reviews
- Ensure all client requests and transactions are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with internal procedures
- Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and proactive follow-up
- Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) laws, regulations, and internal policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Series 7 license required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a bank
- Strong follow-up and follow-through skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy and quality
