TalentoHC is partnered with a growing healthcare organization actively seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their dynamic IT team.
This role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Nutanix environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable infrastructure solutions that align with business needs and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions primarily within Microsoft Azure.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory services, including Group Policy, domain controllers, DNS, and identity federation services (ADFS, Azure AD Connect).
- Oversee Nutanix HCI platform operations, ensuring performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on systems integration, migration projects, and enterprise-level deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.) for routine tasks and infrastructure provisioning.
- Maintain strong security postures across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and incident response procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation practices.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on Azure and Windows Server environments.
- Proven hands-on experience managing Active Directory, including group policies, replication, and federation services.
- Solid experience with Nutanix HCI technologies (e.g., AHV, Prism, Calm).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform preferred).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect, Nutanix NCP/NCM).
