Specialist, Accounts Payable
Overview:
Responsible for managing invoices, vendors payments and T&E. This includes insuring receiving, processing and verifying invoices, insuring accurate and prompt invoices approval and payments. Managing intercompany payments, integrity and accuracy of accounting books and records by applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute high volume of invoices
- Execute T&E process improvement initiatives
- Review and verify invoices, T&E reports and payment requirements
- Prepare requests for Wire transfers
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Prepare and record asset , liability, revenue and expense entries
- Participate in month end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions related to invoices and T&E payments.
- Bank and accounts payables reconciliation
- Review payable invoices for accuracy, supervision of the invoices payment process.
- investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to vendor's inquiries on a timely and professional manner
- Respond to employees inquiries on a timely and professional manner
- Assist with financial, tax and regulatory audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years experience of managing AP process
- NetSuite and Concur knowledge preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/ Advance excel skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Highly detail oriented and organized
