Products & Promotions Specialist

Overview
TalentoHC has partnered with a lifestyle company looking for a 90 day contract-to-hire Products & Promotions Specialist that will be primarily responsible for working cross-functionally with various marketing departments to make sure that the promotional offers are built into the company's reservations systems, featured on the website properly, and is being communicated across all channels. This role is ideal for a candidate who has around 2-4 years of experience and is looking for growth opportunities in the long-term.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Promotions, Revenue Management teams, and other key stakeholders to develop promotional campaigns and offers aimed at maximizing occupancy.
- Continuously monitors product inventory and communicates internal priorities for dates with higher demand.
- Analyzes and reports on the effectiveness of pricing strategies, promotional offers, and offer combinations across all products and distribution channels.
- Partners with stakeholders and IT to create promotional offers within the reservations system; tracks performance and makes necessary adjustments based on sales trends.
- Works closely with the Revenue Management and Sales teams to evaluate incentive programs, consortia initiatives, and account-specific promotional campaigns; measures and reports their effectiveness.
- Provides monthly updates on dates, pricing, terms, and conditions for promotional flyers and website landing pages, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversees the accuracy of promotion-related content on the website and reviews marketing and sales materials to ensure retail pricing and promotional information, including terms and conditions, are correct.
- Collaborates with Promotions, Revenue Management, and IT teams to design and implement digital tools for monitoring inventory and promotional performance.
- Supports competitive analysis efforts, tracking competitor pricing, promotions, policies, and product offerings.
- Maintains comprehensive marketing calendars, pricing files, and promotional resources for cross-departmental use.
- Serves as a key communication link among the Marketing, Sales, and Reservations/Contact Center teams regarding all promotional activities.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or 1–2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Basic Formulas)
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Ability to generate clear and accurate reports using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business performance data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus.
Pay Rate (Commensurate with Experience): $28 – 30/hr
