Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of food and packaging products at optimal costs while managing franchisee relationships, promotions planning, inventory management, and distribution services. Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Experience in import/export activities is a plus.
Responsibilities
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Negotiate supplier agreements to optimize landed product costs at distribution centers.
- Manage supplier and distribution center relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Develop purchasing strategies and align with stakeholders to harmonize supply agreements.
- Monitor cost variances and key commodity pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assess supplier performance and capacity to meet quality, cost, and service expectations.
Promotions and Inventory Management
- Coordinate with marketing, innovation, and quality teams for new product launches and promotions.
- Communicate marketing activities to suppliers and manage inventory levels for product rollouts.
- Develop and execute supplier production and inventory management plans.
Distribution & Logistics
- Oversee relationships with distribution centers and third-party carriers.
- Review logistics costs and optimize freight expenses.
- Ensure compliance with distribution agreements.
Franchisee Relations
- Manage relationships with franchisees, addressing concerns and coordinating regular meetings.
- Represent the company in franchisee discussions and ensure alignment on supply chain matters.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide supply chain updates to stakeholders, including leadership and franchisees.
- Prepare reports and resolve purchasing and distribution issues efficiently.
- Travel occasionally to liaise with teams and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5–6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
