Technical Customer Service Representative

Talento has partnered with a privately held organization in South Florida on a search for a Technical Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical support and assistance to our customers, ensuring their issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. You will be the first point of contact for customers facing technical challenges, troubleshooting problems, and offering guidance to optimize their experience with our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to our specific products, software, or services.
  • Guide customers through problem-solving processes, including installation, configuration, and product usage.
  • Document customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions in the company's CRM system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams (e.g., engineering, product management) when necessary.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve customer support processes and product features.
  • Educate customers on product features, functionalities, and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with product updates, new releases, and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Assist in maintaining technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service or technical support role (minimum of 2 years preferred).
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills; ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ticketing systems, or other customer support tools (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with customer concerns.
