Talento has partnered with a growing toy company seeking a Creative Brand Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset for their growing IP.

As Brand Manager, you will be the champion, primary catalyst, and ultimate authority for assigned brands within our well-established and growing Plush  plush division. You will be the key architect in developing and driving the overall brand vision, while leading a high-performing cross-functional team to execute that vision and achieve meaningful results. Working alongside the Brand Director, the Brand Manager will oversee product line development and carry out strategic plans for their brand(s) and retail partners while meeting and exceeding financial and business objectives to help our company grow and succeed.


  • Communication and business lead on your brand(s) – ensuring all teams and key stakeholders are informed of the brand’s vision, positioning, product strategy, etc.
  • Drive day-to-day line development for assigned brand(s) and manage key development milestones and financial objectives
  • Analyze and evaluate sales data, understand the competition and current industry trends to aid in product line architecture, strategy and development
  • Conduct competitive and consumer analysis, understanding and applying toy trends and play patterns to assigned lines
  • Understand and identify retailer-specific channel strategies to create diverse product lines that satisfy the evolving needs of all global markets and retail channels
  • Lead a cross-functional team to ensure best in class products with brand integrity, maintaining consistent brand voice across product, packaging, sales, and marketing communication toolkits
  • Collaborate with global sales leads to deliver impactful sell-in tools and assets needed to drive the business and achieve key financial goals.
  • Present to our internal sales teams and to retailers with passion, advocating on behalf of our brands
  • Lead a direct report in managing key Brand Documents which include, but are not limited to: Line Plan, Flow Plans, Collector Master Sheet, Collector DTC Guide, etc


  • Experience in toy, consumer products and licensing, must have a passion for toys
  • Interest in or willingness to learn and follow trends within Plush category
  • Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment and be nimble enough to adapt to shifts in priorities.
  • Strong analytic and time management skills
  • Creative out-of-the box thinker with a passion for innovation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – an articulate speaker and presenter who knows how to read and engage an audience, and comfortable presenting to internal and external senior-level leadership
  • Skilled in presentation composition and communications apps, including PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships at all levels of cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Proven ability to lead and manage people and teams, and mentor junior staff
  • Trend-savvy, highly organized and efficient team player
  • Proficient in Google Suite + MS Office Suite (basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in marketing area or related field preferred. Graduate Degree a plus
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant marketing, brand, or product management experience with a CPG background, toy experience a plus
  • $90-110K DOE
