Workday Implementation Lead
 
Talento has partnered with an organization in South Florida looking that is going to implement Workday for their HCM and needs an experienced implementation lead that will be responsible for the discovery and implementation of their HCM. This person will act as the company SME and liaison when partnering with providers while also providing support to the department post implementation. This is a long term contract hybrid out of their Palm Beach County offices. 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation project, including project planning, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop implementation strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the project throughout the implementation process, providing guidance, support, and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Conduct training sessions for stakeholders on system functionality, best practices, and system usage.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion of projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate the system with other systems and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implementation, including troubleshooting issues, implementing system updates, and optimizing system performance.
  • Carry out various administrative services for assigned facilities and will plan, organize, and direct execution of special projects, events, and requests.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of progressive techno-functional experience leading major software implementation
  • Experience leading at least 1 Workday implementation in recent years from discovery through post implementation support
  • Strong understanding of relevant processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in system configuration.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
